Sponsorship and Media Sales Potential

London Notting Hill Carnival consists of approximately 65 performance units consisting of various Mas Bands and floats with mobile music who all have significant advertisement potential to advertise a company, organisation, product or service while moving around the whole carnival route.

London Notting Hill Carnival 2008 attracted 2 million people over the 2 day event.

CMA have direct influence on some floats where some members of CMA have their own Mas Bands but CMA have also forged close relationships with all the Mas associations.  The potential to advertise on floats at London Notting Hill Carnival is huge. The advertising on floats has the benefit of not being static and potentially more people will have the ability to view advertisement of a product or service of any company or organisation.

CMA can discuss any advertisement requirements that can provide or assist in sponsorship for floats to aid CMA members in meeting their costs but at the same time maximising the benefit to a sponsor.  CMA can negotiate short term advertisement opportunities or longer term sponsorships.

 Benefits for a Sponsor

• The service provided can be either short term (one off event) or longer term (2 to 5 years)
• Banners can be agreed and positioned on floats or trucks to provide excellent publicity (size of banner and position shall need to be negotiated dependant on the amount of publicity required on the float).
• Notting Hill Carnival attracts a mass media presence.
• Up to 2 million people have attended previous Notting Hill Carnivals.
• CMA have DJ’s have the ability to promote the name of the sponsor as well as the visual banner.
• T-shirts and other items of clothing can also be printed with sponsor’s name
